Central Java Food Prices Tuesday (10/1): Chili Pepper, Egg, and Rice Prices Increase

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (1/10/2024) at 15.04 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 12 commodities increased in price and 8 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include broiler chicken, pure beef, kembung fish, red chilies, and dry soybean (import).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), milkfish, bulk wheat flour, fine iodized salt, and SPHP rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The commodity with the highest price increase was garlic cloves, up by Rp420 (1.18%) to Rp36,050 per kg. The largest price decrease was for fine iodized salt, down Rp200 (1.77%) to Rp11,100 per kg.
