According to the Ministry of Investment's report, the total realized investment in downstream industries in Indonesia reached Rp584.1 trillion throughout 2025. This value increased by 43.3% compared to the same period last year (year-on-year/yoy).

In this sector, palm oil secured the largest value at Rp62.8 trillion, followed by log wood at Rp62.2 trillion. There was also rubber investment at Rp12.9 trillion, and other commodities (nutmeg, pine, coconut cocoa, and biofuels) at Rp6.6 trillion.

Furthermore, the oil and gas sector received downstream investment worth Rp60 trillion, consisting of Rp41.7 trillion for petroleum downstream and Rp18.3 trillion for natural gas downstream.

Lastly, downstream investment in the fisheries and marine sector amounted to Rp6.4 trillion. This investment is for the downstream processing of salt; tuna, skipjack, and mackerel; shrimp; seaweed; blue swimming crab; and tilapia.

Overall, the total investment entering Indonesia throughout 2025 reached Rp1,931.2 trillion, growing by 12.7% (yoy).

This value consists of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) at Rp900.9 trillion (46.6%) and Domestic Direct Investment (DDI) at Rp1,030.3 trillion (53.4%).
