Indonesia's Food Prices, Week of November 24th: Beef Prices Rise, Chili Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to be lower compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Sunday (24/11/2024) at 14.10 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 8 commodities increased in price and 11 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include premium rice, shallots, garlic bulbs, bulk cooking oil, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, broiler chicken, curly red chilies, bulk wheat flour, and milkfish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) saw the highest price increase of Rp40 (0.31%) to Rp13,130 per kg. Curly red chilies experienced the largest price decrease of Rp150 (0.51%) to Rp29,160 per kg.
