February's inflation rate for transportation in Bekasi City reached 0.56%.

The price components contributing to passenger transportation inflation in Bekasi City in February were 0.56%. This figure is lower than the previous month's 1.79%. Among the eight inflation groups measured in this area, the transportation group contributed 0.44% to regional inflation.

The Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) reported that the consumer price index (CPI) for transportation in Bekasi City was at 113.53 in February 2024, higher than the previous month's 112.9.

Compared to the same month last year, transportation inflation has fallen by 16.99% (year-on-year/yoy). Compared to the beginning of the year, the price components contributing to inflation in Bekasi City have grown by 0.56% (year-to-date/ytd).

This sub-group inflation experienced the second-highest increase compared to other contributing sub-groups.

Compared to 79 other regencies/cities, the highest transportation inflation occurred in Tual City, down 0.16% with a CPI of 120.49, and the lowest occurred in Manokwari Regency at 1.75% with a CPI of 111.89. Bekasi City ranked 19th.

National inflation (general) in February 2024 was 0.37%, down from the previous month (month-to-month/m-to-m). Compared to the beginning of the year, national general inflation reached 0.37% (ytd), and compared to February 2023, inflation fell by 7.52% (yoy).
