Latest South Sumatra Food Prices: What's the Price of Fish?

The prices of several food commodities in South Sumatra today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Tuesday (30/7/2024) at 08.40 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include shallots, garlic bulbs, granulated sugar, premium rice, and curly red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as mackerel, chicken eggs, farmer-level corn, fine iodized salt, and SPHP rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp4,230 (9.57%) to Rp48,420 per kg. Farmer-level corn experienced the sharpest price drop of Rp330 (6.19%) to Rp5,000 per kg.
