Bali's Weekly Food Prices (November 24th): Onion Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (24/11/2024) at 11:12 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include farmer-level corn, SPHP rice, dry soybean (import), bulk wheat flour, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as simple packaged cooking oil, granulated sugar, red chilies, red cayenne peppers, and iodized fine salt decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of mackerel fish increased the most by Rp2,450 (7.08%) to Rp37,050 per kg. The price of red cayenne pepper decreased the most by Rp810 (2.76%) to Rp28,590 per kg.
