Sumatera Selatan Food Price List Today: Chicken and Rice Prices Increase (Thursday, February 29, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in South Sumatra today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Thursday (29/2/2024) at 12:38 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include granulated sugar, broiler chicken, chicken eggs, pure beef, and milkfish.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, red chilies, dry soybeans (import), premium rice, and iodized fine salt decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish experienced the highest price increase of Rp470 (1.73%) to Rp27,570 per kg. Meanwhile, curly red chilies saw the lowest price decrease of Rp3,460 (4.18%) to Rp79,220 per kg.

6. Shallots: Rp32,980 per kg (down 1.05%)
7. Mackerel: Rp32,010 per kg (down 1.14%)
8. Chicken Eggs: Rp28,790 per kg (up 0.28%)
