Latest Food Prices in DKI Jakarta: Onion Prices Up, Chicken Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Friday (19/7/2024) at 08.01 WIB, out of 18 commodities, 11 commodities increased in price and 7 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include chicken eggs, medium-grain rice, bulk cooking oil, premium rice, and red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as milkfish, bulk wheat flour, simple packaged cooking oil, shallots, and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots experienced the highest price increase, up by Rp8,550 (20.63%) to Rp50,000 per kg. Chicken meat saw the sharpest price drop, down by Rp9,680 (25.69%) to Rp28,000 per kg.
