Goods Delivery Service Costs Increased by 1.15% (YoY) in June 2022

Goods delivery services were not significantly impacted by the increase in unsubsidized fuel prices.

This is reflected in the consumer price index (CPI) for goods delivery services, which only increased slightly by 0.07% to 115.07 in June 2022 compared to the previous month (month-to-month/m-to-m). This means that the cost of goods delivery services nationwide only increased by an average of 0.07% last month.

However, the CPI for goods delivery services recorded consecutive increases over the past two months and reached its highest level since January 2020.

Compared to June 2021, the cost of goods delivery services only increased by 1.15% (year-on-year/yoy). Similarly, compared to December 2021, the cost of goods delivery services only increased by 1.11% (year-to-date/ytd).

Goods delivery services represent the transportation sub-inflation group with the smallest increase in June 2022. The details are as follows:

1. Passenger Transportation Services: 13.25% (yoy)
2. Operation of Private Transportation Equipment: 3.57% (yoy)
3. Vehicle Purchases: 2.89% (yoy)
4. Goods Delivery Services: 1.15% (yoy)
