Bali Region Food Prices, Sunday (July 28th): What's the Price of Chicken?

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (28/7/2024) at 15:54 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include bulk cooking oil, mackerel, red chilies, curly red chilies, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, granulated sugar, chicken eggs, farmer-level corn, and simple packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Mackerel experienced the highest price increase, up by Rp10,240 (38.98%) to Rp36,510 per kg. Shallots saw the sharpest price drop, down Rp930 (3.77%) to Rp23,760 per kg.
