Latest Food Prices in Bengkulu Region: Onions Up, Chilies Down (Friday, January 19, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Bengkulu today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (19/1/2024) at 15.36 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are shallots, medium-grain rice, livestock-grade corn, bulk cooking oil, and mackerel.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chili peppers, iodized fine salt, pure beef, dry soybean (import), and chicken eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Livestock-grade corn experienced the highest price increase of Rp7,500 (100.0%) to Rp15,000 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili peppers saw the lowest price decrease of Rp4,480 (9.87%) to Rp40,910 per kg.
