Food Prices in Yogyakarta, Friday (August 2nd): What's the Price of Fish?

Prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta Special Region today are monitored to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (2/8/2024) at 12.20 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 14 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include garlic bulbs, Indian mackerel, medium rice, broiler chicken, and curly red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as farmer-level corn, bulk cooking oil, simple packaged cooking oil, red chilies, and milkfish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase of Rp650 (3.27%) to Rp20,540 per kg. Farmer-level corn experienced the sharpest price drop of Rp650 (13.68%) to Rp4,100 per kg.
