Today's Food Prices in Banten Region: Oil Prices Drop

The price of several food commodities in Banten today is observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Saturday (13/7/2024) at 15:37 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include packaged simple cooking oil, bulk wheat flour, red chilies, premium rice, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, SPHP rice, milkfish, broiler chicken, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp3,440 (6.97%) to Rp52,780 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of dry soybean seeds (import) decreased the most, dropping Rp890 (7.01%) to Rp11,810 per kg.
