Jakarta, DKI Region Food Prices Today: Onion Prices Up, Beef Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Jakarta today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Saturday (13/7/2024) at 13.41 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 12 commodities increased in price and 5 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include curly red chilies, chicken eggs, bulk cooking oil, simple packaged cooking oil, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as mackerel, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), red chili peppers, premium rice, and pure beef decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of shallot bulbs increased the most, by Rp3,520 (8.54%) to Rp44,720 per kg. The price of mackerel decreased the most sharply, by Rp2,100 (6.3%) to Rp31,250 per kg.
