Latest Jambi Region Food Prices: Chili Prices Rise, Beef Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Sunday (3/11/2024) at 11:44 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 13 commodities increased in price and 4 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include SPHP rice, premium rice, red chilies, shallots, and mackerel.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, chicken eggs, bulk wheat flour, and pure beef decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase, up Rp1,660 (3.98%) to Rp43,320 per kg. Skipjack tuna experienced the sharpest price drop, down Rp750 (2.54%) to Rp28,820 per kg.
