Current Food Prices in DKI Jakarta: Rice, Onion, and Chicken Prices Increase

The prices of several food commodities in Jakarta, DKI today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Friday (27/9/2024) at 15.21 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 5 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include medium-grain rice, milkfish, bulk cooking oil, broiler chicken, and mackerel.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as pure beef, fine iodized salt, skipjack tuna, bulk wheat flour, and simple packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red onion prices surged the highest, increasing by Rp1,680 (5.84%) to Rp30,430 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of fine iodized salt decreased the most sharply, dropping by Rp360 (3.09%) to Rp11,290 per kg.
