Food Prices in South Sumatra Today: Chicken Meat Price Rises, Red Chili Price Falls

The prices of several food ingredients in South Sumatra today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency''s (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (September 24, 2025) at 13:22 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 13 commodities increased and 9 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices are Minyakita, dried soybean seeds (imported), medium-grade rice, broiler chicken eggs, and broiler chicken meat.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as pure beef, consumption sugar, red bird''s eye chili, large red chili, and curly red chili have decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Mackerel prices rose the highest by Rp732 (1.92%) to Rp38,768 per kg. Meanwhile, curly red chili prices fell the sharpest by Rp1,518 (2.29%) to Rp64,810 per kg.
