Today's Food Prices in Jambi: Prices of Chili Peppers, Cooking Oil, and Rice Drop

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (5/4/2025) at 12:17 WIB, out of 25 commodities, 3 commodities increased and 20 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price were bulk cooking oil, mackerel fish, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as Minyakita, medium rice, table salt, SPHP rice, and fresh buffalo meat (local) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Mackerel fish experienced the highest price increase of Rp725 (1.92%), reaching Rp38,571 per kg. Meanwhile, large red chilies saw the sharpest price drop of Rp10,000 (20.0%), reaching Rp40,000 per kg.
