Central Java Food Prices Monday (21/10): Chili Prices Up, Onion Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (21/10/2024) at 14.04 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 16 commodities increased and 5 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include broiler chicken, medium rice, red chilies, milkfish, and curly red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as iodized fine salt, shallots, mackerel, bulk cooking oil, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp600 (2.88%) to Rp21,430 per kg. Shallots saw the sharpest price decrease of Rp300 (1.16%) to Rp25,460 per kg.
