Based on the audit conducted by the Indonesian Supreme Audit Agency (BPK), 74 financial reports from Ministries/Agencies (K/L), including the State Treasurer, received an Unqualified Opinion (WTP) in 2016. This number represents 84 percent of the total K/L financial reports, signifying an improvement from the previous year's 65 percent.
With this result, the 2016 Central Government Financial Report (LKPP) received an Unqualified Opinion (WTP). This is the first time in the last 12 years. Unfortunately, this positive achievement was tarnished by the Corruption Eradication Commission's (KPK) arrest operation (OTT) targeting a BPK employee on Friday, May 26th. This OTT was related to a bribe concerning the issuance of an Unqualified Opinion (WTP) on the financial report of the Ministry of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Regions, and Transmigration.
Meanwhile, eight K/L received a Qualified Opinion (WDP) from the BPK. These eight K/L include the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Environment and Forestry, the Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection, and the National Family Planning Coordinating Board. In addition, six K/L received a Disclaimer Opinion (TMP), including the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries, the National Human Rights Commission (Komnas HAM), the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and TVRI.
