Latest Food Prices in Jakarta, DKI: How Much Does Onion Cost?

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (17/5/2024) at 17.31 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 3 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include curly red chilies, shallots, mackerel, red chilies, and chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), milkfish, and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots experienced the highest price increase, up by Rp2,080 (3.49%) to Rp61,690 per kg. Bulk cooking oil saw the lowest price decrease, down by Rp170 (1.06%) to Rp15,810 per liter.
