Latest Indonesian Regional Food Prices: Onion Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to be higher compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Tuesday (22/10/2024) at 11:50 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 11 commodities increased in price and 8 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include dry soybean (import), fine iodized salt, pure beef, milkfish, and broiler chicken.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as medium rice, red chili peppers, premium rice, bulk wheat flour, and granulated sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of mackerel increased the most, by Rp360 (0.96%) to Rp37,880 per kg. The price of red chili peppers decreased the most sharply, by Rp520 (1.16%) to Rp44,130 per kg.
