Latest Food Prices in Lampung: Rice and Chili Prices Increase

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (24/11/2024) at 11.07 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 12 commodities increased in price and 8 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include skipjack tuna, SPHP rice, bulk cooking oil, milkfish, and simple packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, granulated sugar, farmer-level corn, bulk wheat flour, and premium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices surged the highest, by Rp1,510 (6.84%) to Rp23,580 per kg. Premium rice prices decreased the most, by Rp180 (1.24%) to Rp14,360 per kg.
