Food Prices in West Java, Thursday (February 20th): What's the Price of Chili Peppers?

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (20/02/2025) at 10:24 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 8 commodities increased in price and 15 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include SHP rice, broiler chicken meat, packaged wheat flour, red chilies, and granulated sugar.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as premium rice, curly red chilies, milkfish, packaged cooking oil, and large red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp3,615 (5.39%) to Rp70,625 per kg. Curly red chilies experienced the sharpest price drop of Rp1,981 (4.22%) to Rp45,000 per kg.
