Latest Food Prices in Yogyakarta Special Region: Prices of Cooking Oil, Beef, and Rice Decrease

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta Special Region today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (20/8/2024) at 08.38 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include wheat flour (bulk), skipjack tuna, iodized fine salt, simple packaged cooking oil, and milkfish.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, medium rice, Indian mackerel, red onions, and chicken eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish prices surged the highest by IDR 4,730 (12.36%) to IDR 43,000 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili prices decreased the most sharply by IDR 10,670 (23.36%) to IDR 35,000 per kg.
