North Sumatra Food Price List Today: Rice, Beef, and Oil Prices Increase (Saturday, January 13, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in North Sumatra today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Saturday (13/1/2024) at 10:23 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include iodized fine salt, pure beef, medium rice, dry soybean (import), and chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), chicken meat, shallots, red chilies, and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices surged the highest by Rp8,910 (16.59%) to Rp62,610 per kg. Meanwhile, shallot prices decreased the least by Rp1,990 (5.21%) to Rp36,210 per kg.
