Sugar Prices in Jambi Province's Traditional Markets Increased by 0.27% Over the Past Month

Based on the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 4:44 PM WIB, the daily price of granulated sugar in Jambi province's traditional markets has not changed compared to the previous day, nor in the last week.

However, compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of granulated sugar in traditional markets has increased from the previously recorded Rp18,700.

Meanwhile, the daily price of granulated sugar in traditional markets in Jambi over the past three months has increased by 3.31% from the previously recorded price of Rp18,150.

The record high for the daily price of granulated sugar in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in January 2021 with an increase of 10.62%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in January 2021 with a decrease of -9.6%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in Jambi show eight commodities decreased and 16 increased. The basic commodities with decreased prices are: Daily Red Chili in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Chicken Meat in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Fresh Broiler Chicken in Traditional Markets by Province, Medium Quality II Rice, Garlic, Medium-Sized Garlic, Daily Chili in Traditional Markets by Province, and Daily Green Chili in Traditional Markets by Province.

The following are the prices of nine basic commodities monitored by PIHPS today compared to the price changes over the past month in Jambi province:

4. Super Quality II Rice per Kg: Rp17,150 (up 0.88%)
5. Chicken Meat per Kg, daily in Traditional Markets by Province: Rp31,750 (down 7.3%)
6. Fresh Broiler Chicken per Kg, daily in Traditional Markets by Province: Rp31,750 (down 7.3%)
