Granulated Sugar Prices in Traditional Markets March 2025-2026 Period

Quoting from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center (PIHPS) dashboard at 4:44 PM WIB, the daily granulated sugar price in traditional markets in Jambi Province has not changed compared to the previous day, nor in the last week.

Compared to prices 30 days ago, the daily granulated sugar price in traditional markets has increased from the previously recorded Rp18.7 thousand.

Meanwhile, the daily granulated sugar price in traditional markets in Jambi over the last three months has increased by 3.31% from the previously recorded Rp18.15 thousand.

The record increase in daily granulated sugar prices in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in January 2021 with an increase of 10.62%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in January 2021 with a decrease of -9.6%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, today's prices of nine staple foods (sembako) in Jambi show that eight commodities have decreased and 16 others have increased. The sembako with decreased prices are: Daily Red Bird's Eye Chili in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Chicken Meat in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Fresh Broiler Chicken Meat in Traditional Markets by Province, Medium II Quality Rice, Garlic, Medium-sized Garlic, Daily Bird's Eye Chili in Traditional Markets by Province, and Daily Green Bird's Eye Chili in Traditional Markets by Province.
