Today's Food Prices in East Java: Chicken, Oil, and Rice Prices Drop

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (11/6/2024) at 08.01 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include bulk cooking oil, dry soybean (import), premium rice, skipjack tuna, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as milkfish, red chilies, granulated sugar, red chili peppers, and simple packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of corn at the farmer level surged the highest by Rp480 (9.3%) to Rp5,640 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of iodized fine salt decreased the most by Rp1,840 (19.78%) to Rp7,460 per kg.

9. Skipjack Tuna: Rp30,990 per kg (up 2.28%)
