Latest Food Prices in Central Java: Oil and Salt Prices Drop

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (22/10/2024) at 14.04 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include milkfish, dry soybean (import), medium rice, shallot bulb, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chili, iodized fine salt, mackerel, premium rice, and SPHP rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots experienced the highest price increase of Rp780 (3.06%) to Rp26,240 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of corn at the farmer level decreased the most, by Rp110 (2.13%) to Rp5,050 per kg.

The following is a complete list of the prices of 21 food commodities in Central Java according to Bapanas on October 22, 2024, at 14.04 WIB.
