Latest Food Prices in West Java: Egg Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (9/9/2024) at 14.01 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 14 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are bulk cooking oil, bulk wheat flour, broiler eggs, and granulated sugar.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, red chilies, dry soybeans (import), pure beef, and corn at the farmer level decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Broiler egg prices saw the highest increase of Rp200 (0.78%) to Rp25,960 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of curly red chilies decreased the most, by Rp480 (1.43%) to Rp33,190 per kg.
