Today''s Food Prices in DKI Jakarta: Onions Up, Rice Down

Prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today were observed to be higher than yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (September 3, 2025) at 09.52 AM WIB, out of 21 commodities, 14 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased.

Commodities with price increases include mackerel, red cayenne pepper, pure beef, bulk wheat flour, and milkfish.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as premium rice, consumption sugar, dried soybean (imported), shallots, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Skipjack tuna commodity increased the most by Rp7,917 (18.1%) to Rp51,667 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of premium rice decreased the most by Rp15,180 (100.0%) to Rp0 per kg.

1. Pure Beef: Rp137,500 per kg (up 3.04%)
2. Large Red Chili: Rp51,667 per kg (up 10.96%)
3. Skipjack Tuna: Rp51,667 per kg (up 18.1%)
4. Milkfish: Rp50,000 per kg (up 10.04%)
5. Garlic Bulb: Rp48,667 per kg (up 16.36%)
6. Mackerel: Rp46,667 per kg (up 11.44%)
7. Curly Red Chili: Rp45,000 per kg (up 3.38%)
8. Red Cayenne Pepper: Rp45,000 per kg (up 6.99%)
9. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp41,667 per kg (up 13.02%)
10. Shallots: Rp40,667 per kg (down 14.12%)
11. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp28,667 per kg (up 2.18%)
12. Packaged Cooking Oil: Rp21,000 per liter (up 1.42%)
13. Bulk Cooking Oil: Rp18,667 per liter (down 1.35%)
