East Java Food Prices, Sunday (14/7): Chili Prices Rise, Onion Prices Fall

Food prices in East Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (14/7/2024) at 12:33 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include premium rice, dry soybean (import), broiler chicken, granulated sugar, and simple packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as SPHP rice, bulk cooking oil, pure beef, bulk wheat flour, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices increased the most, by Rp1,310 (2.6%) to Rp51,710 per kg. Milkfish prices decreased the most, by Rp2,180 (6.65%) to Rp30,600 per kg.
