Curly Red Chili Prices in Modern Markets for the March 2025-2026 Period

Quoting from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 17:23 WIB, the daily curly red chili price in modern markets of Riau Province has not changed compared to the previous day, nor in the last week.

As for the last month, the daily curly red chili price in modern markets has increased from the previously recorded Rp54.95 thousand per kg.

Meanwhile, the daily curly red chili price in modern markets in Riau over the last three months has increased by 17.47% from the previously traded Rp88.7 thousand per kg.

The record increase in daily curly red chili prices in modern markets in this province was previously recorded in April 2017 with a 407.5% increase, and the lowest decrease was recorded in March 2017 with a -73.94% decrease.

According to the PIHPS monitoring, today's prices of nine staple foods (sembako) in Riau show seven commodities decreased and 11 others increased. The staple foods with decreased prices are Premium Quality Granulated Sugar, Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 1, Chicken Meat, Fresh Layer Chicken Meat, Chicken Eggs, Granulated Sugar and Fresh Layer Chicken Eggs.
