Current Food Prices in South Sumatra: What's the Price of Chicken Meat?

The prices of several food commodities in South Sumatra today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (22/9/2024) at 12:06 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 5 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are milkfish, SPHP rice, chicken eggs, bulk cooking oil, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, chicken meat, dry soybean (import), mackerel, and garlic cloves decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices increased the most by Rp330 (0.8%) to Rp41,610 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red chilies decreased the most sharply by Rp530 (1.79%) to Rp29,150 per kg.
