Today's Food Prices in Bali: Prices of Chilies, Salt, and Rice Increase

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Friday (27/9/2024) at 10:40 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include milkfish, bulk cooking oil, medium rice, premium rice, and SPHP rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as granulated sugar, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), skipjack tuna, chicken eggs, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The commodity with the highest price increase was red chilies, up by Rp1,560 (8.71%) to Rp19,470 per kg. The sharpest price decrease was for packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), down by Rp290 (2.41%) to Rp11,720 per kg.
