Latest Food Prices in DKI Jakarta: Salt Up, Chilies Down (Tuesday, March 12, 2024)

Food prices in DKI Jakarta today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Tuesday (12/3/2024) at 12.14 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 2 commodities increased and 16 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are wheat flour (bulk) and iodized fine salt.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as broiler chicken, garlic cloves, granulated sugar, skipjack tuna, and premium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt saw the highest price increase of Rp300 (2.58%) to Rp11,940 per kg. The price of Indian mackerel saw the lowest decrease of Rp2,410 (6.73%) to Rp33,390 per kg.
