Outside the food and energy categories, the commodity with the highest annual inflation in the US was transportation services, whose price index rose by 11% (yoy) in April 2023.

The US house/housing price index rose by 8.1% (yoy), new vehicles by 5.4% (yoy), medical services by 0.4% (yoy), while the price index for used cars and trucks fell by 6.6% (yoy).
