Today's Food Prices in Bali: Rice and Oil Prices Increase

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at 09.31 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 12 commodities increased in price and 9 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include medium-grain rice, simple packaged cooking oil, SPHP rice, bulk wheat flour, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as iodized fine salt, broiler chicken meat, red chili peppers, pure beef, and curly red chili peppers decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of corn at the farmer level saw the highest increase, jumping Rp1,020 (18.21%) to Rp6,620 per kg. The price of curly red chili peppers saw the steepest decrease, falling Rp1,550 (7.73%) to Rp18,490 per kg.

6. Garlic Bulbs: Rp35,490 per kg (down 1.17%)
7. Chicken Eggs: Rp26,610 per kg (down 0.37%)
8. Skipjack Tuna: Rp25,720 per kg (up 0.27%)
9. Red Onions: Rp23,540 per kg (up 0.43%)
10. Curly Red Chili Peppers: Rp18,490 per kg (down 7.73%)
11. Simple Packaged Cooking Oil: Rp17,970 per liter (up 1.07%)
12. Bulk Cooking Oil: Rp17,580 per liter (up 6.35%)
