Today's Food Prices in East Java: Rice and Chicken Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are monitored to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (9/12/2024) at 08.40 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include dry soybean (import), red chili peppers, skipjack tuna, SPHP rice, and iodized fine salt.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as simple packaged cooking oil, pure beef, granulated sugar, Indian mackerel, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Skipjack tuna experienced the highest price increase of Rp1,320 (4.67%) to Rp29,560 per kg. Indian mackerel experienced the largest price decrease of Rp1,970 (6.03%) to Rp30,690 per kg.
