Yogyakarta Special Region Food Prices on Monday (June 3rd): Rice, Chicken, and Sugar Prices Drop

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta Special Region today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Monday (3/6/2024) at 09.09 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include medium-grain rice, Indian mackerel, simple packaged cooking oil, milkfish, and dry soybean (import).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, pure beef, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), curly red chilies, and premium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish experienced the highest price increase of Rp4,830 (12.65%) to Rp43,000 per kg. Shallots saw the lowest price decrease of Rp10,600 (24.31%) to Rp33,000 per kg.

2. Milkfish: Rp43,000 per kg (up 12.65%)
3. Indian Mackerel: Rp38,000 per kg (up 1.39%)
4. Shallot Bulb: Rp36,000 per kg (down 4.84%)
5. Curly Red Chilies: Rp35,000 per kg (down 14.49%)
6. Broiler Chicken: Rp35,000 per kg (down 2.37%)
7. Skipjack Tuna: Rp34,000 per kg (up 0.53%)
8. Shallots: Rp33,000 per kg (down 24.31%)
9. Red Chilies: Rp30,000 per kg (down 5.03%)
10. Chicken Eggs: Rp27,000 per kg (down 2.81%)
11. Granulated Sugar: Rp17,000 per kg (down 0.41%)
