Today's Food Price Update in Jambi: Rice and Oil Prices Increase (Thursday, March 14, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (14/3/2024) at 10:25 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include mackerel, red chilies, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), simple packaged cooking oil, and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as broiler chicken, curly red chilies, premium rice, milkfish, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of skipjack tuna increased the most, by Rp460 (1.6%) to Rp29,250 per kg. The price of curly red chilies decreased the least, by Rp2,830 (3.5%) to Rp78,090 per kg.
