Latest Bali Food Prices: Chili Prices Up, Cooking Oil Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Thursday (11/7/2024) at 15.37 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include red chilies, curly red chilies, bulk wheat flour, simple packaged cooking oil, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as farmer-level corn, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), dry soybean (import), skipjack tuna, and SPHP rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp3,810 (8.21%) to Rp50,240 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of Indian mackerel experienced the sharpest decrease of Rp3,210 (8.57%) to Rp34,250 per kg.

9. Shallots: Rp25,500 per kg (up 1.63%)
