Current Jambi Region Food Prices: Chicken Prices Up, Onion Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (22/8/2024) at 13.01 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 5 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include red chilies, mackerel, premium rice, broiler chicken, and chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as milkfish, curly red chilies, garlic bulbs, shallots, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of skipjack tuna increased the most by Rp700 (2.42%) to Rp29,570 per kg. The price of milkfish decreased the most sharply by Rp2,170 (6.91%) to Rp29,220 per kg.
