Food Prices Today in DKI Jakarta Area: Onion and Cayenne Pepper Prices Rise

Prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Sunday (21/9/2025) at 13:55 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 increased and 2 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include mackerel, red cayenne pepper, garlic bulb, packaged wheat flour, and broiler chicken meat.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as shallots and broiler chicken eggs decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Red cayenne pepper commodity saw the highest jump of Rp1,470 (2.82%) to Rp53,529 per kg. Meanwhile, shallot prices dropped the sharpest by Rp588 (1.31%) to Rp44,412 per kg.
