West Java Food Price Update Today: Onion Prices Up, Fish Prices Down (Saturday, December 16, 2023)

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Saturday, December 16, 2023, at 12:20 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 14 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are packaged simple cooking oil, tongkol fish, shallots, bulk wheat flour, and garlic bulbs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged (non-bulk) wheat flour, dry soybean (import), milkfish, mackerel, and granulated sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Garlic bulbs saw the highest price increase of Rp290 (0.83%) to Rp35,060 per kg. Milkfish experienced the lowest price decrease of Rp850 (2.25%) to Rp36,950 per kg.
