Current West Java Food Prices: Beef Prices Up, Salt Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to be lower compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Tuesday (17/12/2024) at 08.03 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 3 commodities increased and 18 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are granulated sugar, simple packaged cooking oil, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as milkfish, mackerel, SPHP rice, garlic bulbs, and dry soybean (import) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Pure beef prices surged the highest by Rp1,580 (1.2%) to Rp133,250 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of iodized fine salt decreased the most sharply by Rp1,890 (18.51%) to Rp8,320 per kg.

The following is a complete list of the prices of 21 food commodities in West Java according to Bapanas on December 17, 2024, at 08.03 WIB.

9. Skipjack Tuna: Rp31,530 per kg (down 11.98%)
