West Java Food Price List Today: Chicken, Egg, and Chili Prices Increase (Thursday, February 1, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Thursday (1/2/2024) at 12:11 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include pure beef, curly red chilies, garlic bulbs, red chilies, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as farmer-level corn, dry soybean (import), mackerel, medium rice, and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp2,780 (5.87%) to Rp50,110 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of iodized fine salt saw the lowest decrease, dropping Rp680 (6.77%) to Rp9,370 per kg.
