Aceh Region Food Prices Tuesday (August 6th): Chili Pepper, Chicken, and Rice Prices Increase

The prices of several food commodities in Aceh today are observed to be higher compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (6/8/2024) at 10:41 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 13 commodities increased in price and 6 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include mackerel, broiler chicken, granulated sugar, skipjack tuna, and red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, red onions, bulk wheat flour, chicken eggs, and iodized fine salt decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies experienced the highest price increase, up by Rp2,060 (5.41%) to Rp40,170 per kg. Red onions saw the sharpest price drop, down by Rp1,310 (4.95%) to Rp25,150 per kg.
