Today's Food Prices in the Yogyakarta Special Region: Onions Up, Chilies Down

The price of several food commodities in Yogyakarta Special Region today is observed to be lower than yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (8/8/2024) at 12:20 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 3 commodities increased and 5 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are shallots, SPHP rice, and broiler chicken.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, medium rice, red chilies, dry soybeans (import), and red chili peppers decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase of Rp360 (1.79%) to Rp20,520 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili peppers experienced the sharpest price drop of Rp4,480 (6.84%) to Rp61,050 per kg.
